Econiful Earns NAEE Curriculum Platinum Award for Unit 4

Econiful team members Megan Kirts and Kathleen Cusack accepting the NAEE Curriculum Platinum Award of Excellence for Unit 4: Global Connections, March 2026.

We are excited to share that Econiful received a Curriculum Platinum Award of Excellence from the National Association of Economic Educators (NAEE) for Unit 4: Global Connections, which is the highest recognition NAEE bestows on economics instructional materials!

The Platinum Award reflects the quality of Unit 4's lessons on international trade, exchange rates, and the interconnected global economy. NAEE's curriculum awards are a nationally recognized benchmark for excellence in economics and personal finance education, and earning Platinum means our materials meet the very highest standard.

This recognition is also shows a continued a pattern of growth for our curriculum. In previous years, Econiful earned a Curriculum Platinum Award for Unit 3: Macroeconomics and a Gold Award for Unit 1: Economic Foundations. With this latest honor, three of our units have now been recognized by NAEE.

We designed our high school economics curriculum to be active, relatable, and classroom-ready, and these awards tell us we're on the right track! None of this would be possible without the dedicated teachers who use our materials every day and give us the feedback that makes them better.
