Congratulations to Stacy McCarthy, our May 2024 EconHero!
Stacy teaches AP Macroeconomics and Dual Credit Economics at Bridgeland High School in Cypress, Texas. A fellow high school educator nominated Stacy, explaining that Stacy became her "unofficial PLC teammate" after she reached out for some AP Macro help via Instagram. "AP Macro would not have gone as smoothly for me without Stacy's support!" Stacy's nominator went on to praise a variety of innovative economics activities that Stacy makes available to other educators online. In addition to her work in the classroom, Stacy demonstrates her commitment to economic education by serving as an AP reader and by hosting an EcoFair at her school every spring.
